Sarah Nugent

Owner/Osteopath

Australian Osteopath

B.App Sci (Compl. Med),

Masters of Osteopathy

Sarah graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University in 2013 with a Masters in Osteopathy and has since taken her skillset not only around Australia but to Canada.

Sarah started work as an osteopath in a small country practice in Victoria, Australia before she moved back to the city to work in Melbourne for a following two years. After discovering the travel bug and wanting to work and live in Canada Sarah moved to Toronto to work in an elite sports clinic. Here she treated many sports professionals, weekend warriors and business professionals before she had enough of the city life and she moved back to Australia where she lived in a campervan and worked in another country practice. The pandemic saw her move back to the city of Melbourne to work while she planned her move out here to the Atlantic Coast with her maritime partner and dog.

Sarah has had exposure to a wide range of clients, from elite athletes competing on the world stage to farmers in the country and everyone in between. Sarah uses a direct approach to treatment and is passionate about finding the cause of a persons complaint and not just treat the symptoms.

Sarah has completed extra studies in dry needling, kinesiotaping, women’s health and is completing her studies in clinical pilates. She uses a direct approach to treatment using firm soft tissue techniques, joint articulation and mobilization (if required) and muscle energy techniques. Due to Sarah’s wide range of experience with different clientele she is able to tailor her treatment to each individuals needs; whether that be a firm approach or a more gentle approach. In addition to hands on techniques Sarah provides sound advice and education on workplace ergonomics, rehabilitation and appropriate exercise prescription.

Sarah has experience in treating competitors in the world class Ironman competition, national dragon-boaters and rowers to tennis players, golfers, hockey players and children in sport. She is also interested in treating parents, desk workers and trades people. She is interested in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal complaints including headaches and neck pain, back pain, postural complaints, pregnancy and postpartum issues.

When not treating you will find Sarah exploring all of the trails New Brunswick has to offer with her dog, traveling with her partner and dog or relaxing watching the latest Netflix hit.

Eunice Pellerin

Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

Diploma of Massage Therapy

Eunice has been practicing as a registered massage therapist since 2007. She is fluently bilingual in English and French and can comfortably serve you in either language. Graduating from the International Complimentary Therapies School of massage therapy through Eastern College in Saint John, New Brunswick, she is experienced in working in both spas and clinics specializing in registered massage therapy. She is excited to now join OsteoFlow Health clinic and collaborate with other health professionals to greater help her clients needs.

Eunice’s treatment styled is based upon Swedish Massage which is known for its flowing strokes that promote relaxation and stress relief. This includes a combination of techniques tailored to your individual needs. This may include applying heat or cold therapy to certain areas of your body, using varying levels of pressure to target different layers of muscle tissue, and employing specific methods to alleviate muscle knots or trigger points that cause discomfort. Additionally, she may incorporate techniques to enhance muscle strength and flexibility, as well as gentle joint movements to improve mobility.

To further support your well-being, she'll provide recommendations for homecare, such as stretching or strengthening exercises, aimed at complementing the benefits of the massage therapy sessions. These suggestions are aimed at helping you maintain the positive effects of the treatment and accelerate your healing process between appointments.

Eunice understands that each person perceives pressure differently. Sometimes a very light pressure can be experienced as a lot for one person while another person might require deeper pressure and techniques to experience similar therapeutic results. It is always her objective that her clients have a positive and enjoyable treatment experience that is tailored to individualized client goals and comfort levels.

Experienced in safely treating people living with, suffering, and recovering from conditions such as knee, hip and shoulder joint replacements and dislocations, frozen shoulder, temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ), headaches, scoliosis, hyper kyphosis, vertebral disc degenerations, herniations and fusions, nerve compressions, sciatica, piriformis syndrome, tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), trigger fingers, torticollis, repetitive strain injuries, muscle contractures, delayed onset muscle soreness (post workout, sport and physical activity muscle aching and tenderness), as well as anxiety-related conditions. Her treatment plans have provided pain relief, increased range of motion, joint stability, and relaxation, improved quality and ease of daily living and overall sense of wellbeing.

Clients often comment that they feel at ease and very comfortable with Eunice, that her voice is soothing and hypnotic, that she makes them feel optimistic about recovery, that she seems to know exactly where their sore spots are and the right amount of pressure for them, that she handles their body with great care, and that she listens very well to their treatment goals and desired adjustments such as pressure and techniques assuring their desired level of comfort is respected and maintained throughout treatments.

Outside of work, Eunice values time with her loved ones, loves animals, and enjoys day trips of local sight-seeing, road trips, walking, bicycling, hiking, dancing, yoga, cooking, and gardening.

Samuel Girvan

Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

Diploma of Massage Therapy

Samuel is a 2023 graduate with distinction from Eastern College with a passion for the art of massage therapy.

His journey into massage therapy was driven by an innate desire to make a positive impact on people's lives.

Beyond the technical skills acquired during college, his true strength lies in the genuine care and compassion brought to each person. He believes in the transformative power of touch and its ability to enhance both physical and mental well-being. Samuel's goal is simple yet profound: to offer support and facilitate healing through the therapeutic art of massage.

Sam takes immense pleasure in offering deep tissue and therapeutic massages, prioritizing the seamless flow of each treatment. However, what truly brings Sam joy as a massage therapist is the opportunity to alleviate tension, particularly in the neck area. Witnessing the relief wash over clients as the weight lifts from their shoulders is where Sam finds the greatest fulfillment as a massage therapist.

When out of treatment, Samuel enjoys passing time with a guitar in hand during the sunny days. On rainy days he won't be too far from a book or a computer.
